Established in 2018 with a humble beginning, Caring for Poor embarked on a mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the less privileged in Lahore, Pakistan. What began as a single project of feeding the needy has since grown into a multifaceted organization dedicated to empowering individuals and families to achieve a prosperous and dignified life.
Our Mission
At Caring for Poor, our mission is clear: to empower the less privileged to achieve a prosperous and dignified life through compassionate service and sustainable solutions. Every day, we strive to uphold this mission by providing essential services, education, and support to those in need, guided by compassion, integrity, and social justice principles.
Our Vision
We envision a world where every individual has access to necessities, opportunities for growth, and the support needed to thrive with dignity. Through our work, we seek to create a more just and equitable society where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential and lead fulfilling lives.
Our flagship project of providing meals to the needy has expanded significantly over the years. We now serve approximately 550 meals a day to individuals across Lahore, ensuring that no one goes hungry in our community. In addition to our food program, we have also established the We Care School, which provides quality education to around 125 students from underprivileged backgrounds, empowering them to build a better future for themselves and their families.
Since our inception, Caring for Poor has experienced remarkable growth and impact. What started as a small initiative to feed the needy has blossomed into a comprehensive organization with a diverse range of projects and programs. Today, we are proud to have a dedicated team of approximately 20 employees who are committed to our mission and vision.
As we continue to grow and expand our reach, our commitment to serving those in need remains unwavering.
